Is the owner of the locker contents allowed to bid?

Hello,

Is the owner of the locker contents allowed to bid on their own stuff to bypass the full amount that is outstanding on their locker? for instance someone owes $800 to the storage facility, but auction looks like it’s going to close at $90 so to not have to pay $800 they bid on their own things.

Can we ban the original owner from bidding? we understand said person can get a family member or friend to bid on it and we don’t have control over that. But is there a fail safe method regarding this?

No, they are not allowed. This is covered in our terms of service.

Any bid placed on an auction by the tenant, friend of the tenant, or relative of the tenant will be considered null and void.
