During a recently completed auction, I saw anywhere from one to two minutes added to the auction timer. It happened at least twice, once when I was the auction winner and once when I was outbid during the final minute.
Not really an auction is it?

It’s a soft close to prevent sniping the auction at the last minute to give everyone a fair chance at making an offer. Last ten minutes of the auction every bid that’s placed will add a minute to the timer
